If we are temporarily out of stock on any item those items will be backordered and shipped upon receipt in our warehouse. 

Continental United States orders are shipped pre-paid via United Parcel Service (UPS) or via the United States Postal Service (USPS) unless size or weight limitations dictate otherwise.

Unless instructed otherwise, the UPS/USPS driver will leave your package at the destination even if no one is available to sign for it. If you cannot ensure someone will be available to accept delivery, we recommend you either instruct UPS/USPS to hold your package.  Albeck Medical is not responsible for theft or damage of packages that are left without a signature.

Albeck Medical is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided by the customer, nor are we responsible if recipients fail to collect their deliveries in a timely manner. Please verify all shipping addresses and ensure that recipients are aware of their deliveries. If UPS/USPS is required to redirect a delivery, the customer will be responsible for any surcharges incurred.

All Durable Medical Equipment units will drop ship with the lowest possible charge.  Please contact Albeck Medical for shipping information and pricing.

Damaged on Arrival:  Inspect all shipments before accepting.  If a package is visibly damaged, refuse to accept until delivery receipt is marked "Received in Damaged Condition".  Immediately notify Albeck Medical.

Claims:  Claims for damage should be immediately filed with the transportation company.  In case of concealed damage is discovered upon unpacking, have the transportation company agent make out a report within 48 hours or recovery from the carrier is lost.

Shortages:  Shortage, lost, or missing merchandise is our responsibility only after the following by the customer:

1. Do not sign delivery ticket unless all packages specified on the Bill of Lading are accounted for.  If receipt has been signed for total delivery, carriers assume no responsibility.
2. Check your master Packing Slip.  Direct ship items or those on back-order will be delivered separately.
3. Check all packages marked Miscellaneous merchandise carefully.
